Privacy notice

Short version: we only use your details to reply to you and to do business with you. If you allow it, Keychain shows us which companies visit this website.

Who we are

John Hill Foods Ltd, Unit 6, Monument Business Park, Warpsgrove Lane, Chalgrove, Oxford OX44 7RW. Registered in England and Wales, company number 05839130. Contact us about your data at info@jhfoods.co.uk.

What we collect

If you send us a message or an email, we receive what you give us: usually your name, company, email address, phone number, details of your enquiry and, if you tell us, how you found us.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to manage that business relationship. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries and supplying our customers.

Who else sees it

Nobody outside the business, apart from the companies that host our website and email, and Keychain if you allow tracking (see below). We don't sell or share your details for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our business records, and then delete them.

Cookies and tracking

We use Keychain (keychain.com), a platform where food and drink brands find manufacturers, to see which companies are interested in what we make. It only runs if you click Allow. It then recognises your browser, uses your internet address to work out which company you may be from, and records the pages you look at. It may store cookies in your browser. If you click No thanks, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of it loads.

Our lawful basis for this is your consent, and you can change your mind at any time. Keychain also handles this data under its own privacy notice.

Your choice shows here when JavaScript is on.

Your tracking choice and, if you switch to dark mode, your light or dark setting are remembered on your own device so the next page opens the same way. They aren't sent to us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete them. Email info@jhfoods.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
